Clear Danish victory in Iceland, Slovenia shared points with the Czechs

In the second round of the qualifications for the EHF EURO 2018, in group 5 Denmark defeated Iceland clearly, but in the second match of the group Slovenia and the Czech Republic played an exciting game which ended draw after sixty minutes. Denmark is leading the group with four points, followed closely by the Czech team with 2 points.

Results:

Iceland –  Denmark 14 – 29 (4 – 13)

Goals:

Iceland: Palsdottir – Thompson 3-3, Haraldsdottir-Örvalsdottir-Stefansdottir 2-2, Oscarsdottir-Sturludottir 1-1

Denmark: Tranborg 8, Jørgensen-Woller 4-4, Haugsted 3, S.Iversen-Østergård-Jensen 2-2, Boegelund-Fisker-R.Iversen-Kristianse 1-1

Slovenia –  Czech Republic 28 – 28 (15 –  14)

Goals:

Slovenia: Stanko 11, Gros 8, Ferfolja-Irman-Koren 2-2, Baric-Vrcek-Zulic 1-1

Czech Republic: Luzumova 7, Knedlikova-Mala-Salcakova 4-4, Hrbkova-Jerabkova-Ruckova 2-2, Marcikova-Rysankova-Setelikova 1-1
