Women’s EHF Champions League start is just around the corner and we present the groups with their participants. First to look at is Group C, as the first game of this season will be played in this group, already on Friday, 6/10.

Group C: HC Vardar, Larvik HK, FTC Rail-Cargo Hungaria, Thüringer HC

HC Vardar is the runner-up of the last season and even if happened some changes in their squad, the team is still strong enough to make it to the Final 4 once again.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Inna Suslina (RUS), Amandine Leynaud (FRA), Jovana Micevska

Backplayers: Mirjeta Bajramoska, Andrea Lekic (SRB), Andrea Penezic (CRO), Tatiana Hmirova (RUS), Alexanda LacrabereFRA), Barbara Lazovic (SLO), Teodora Keramichieva, Andrea Klikovac (MNE)

Rightwing: Jovanka Radicevic (MNE), Sara Ristovska

Leftwing: Polina Kuznetsova (RUS), Jovana Sazdovska

Lineplayers: Dragana Cvijic (SRB), Andrea Canadija (CRO), Marija Petrovic (SRB)

Left the club: Sanja Damnjanovic (Siófok KC), Anja Althaus (Győri Audi ETO KC), Mayssa Pessoa (Rostov Don), Tamara Mavsar (Krim), Camilla Herrem (Sola)

Newcomers: Mirjeta Bajramoska (Krim Ljubljana), Dragana Cvijic (Buducnost), Polina Kuznecova (Astrahanochka), Jovana Sazdovska (Metalurg), Jovana Micevska and Teodora Keramichieva (Vardar junior)

Current status: Polina Kuznetsova is in recovery after an injury, soon ready to play, meanwhile Barbara Lazovic suffered an injury of her arm, she is out of the court for a while.

Vardar is the biggest favorite to win the group and qualify to the Main Round.
