Denmark wins the Golden League

Golden League, Herning

Denmark – France 27 – 24 (15 – 10)

Topscorers: Mikkel Hansen (DEN) 8 goals and Kentin Mahe (FRA)  4 goals

When Niklas Landin builds a wall in front of the Danish goal and Mikkel Hansen shows his best-attacking tricks France is without chances. Shortly said this was the story of the encounter between the Olympic gold medalist, Denmark and world champions from France. Denmark won easily the “final” of the Golden League in front of a fully crowded Boxen arena in Herning. Final result 27-24.

Best players of the match: Niklas Landin (DEN) and Nikola Karabatic (FRA)
