Women’s EHF Champions League, Round 4

Group B

FC Midtjylland – Brest Bretagne 27 –  23 (12 –  7)

Goals:

FCM – Kristiansen 12, Burgaard 4, Pedersen 4, Augustesen 3, Løseth 3, Troelsen 1

Brest – Copy 4, Prouvensier 4, Pop-Lazic 4, Burlet 3, Tissier 3, NGouan 2, Stoljkovic 2, Herbrecht 1

Suspensions: 4 minutes/ 6 minutes

7 meters: 3/3 and 3/2

Beating Brest Bretagne on their home-court in the previous round seemed to not happen just randomly, as FCM managed to get a clear victory against the second French team in the CL for the second time in Ikast. With an outstanding performance of Norwegian back player, Veronica Kristiansen- netting twelve times in this game- Danes collected very important two points in the race for Main Round-qualification. Brest Bretagne seems to have the emotion of the rookies in this competition as they were not able until now to win a point in the group matches.
