In the first half Rostov was constantly in lead by 2.3 goals, but before the break, Brest managed to level the game 14-14 and the halftime result was 14-15. In the second half, Brest could not continue the good flow and Rostov managed to get a more substantial advantage, winning 23-29 and securing the qualification to the Main Round.
