
In the first day of the 49th edition of Carpat Trophy in Romania, Brazil met Macedonia and the hosts Romania played against Poland. In the first match in Craiova, Brazil played a close first half with Macedonia but in the second half, the South Americans were clearly superior and their 13-goal victory was more than confident. The second match brought a surprise: Poland was dominant during the whole match against Romania. The guests had an 8-goal-lead already at halftime and even though in some periods, the Romanians could come closer to them, in the end, Poland didn’t have any real trouble to gain the two points. In the second day on Saturday, Poland will play against Brazil and Romania will take on Macedonia.
