Head-coach  Jan Bašný has a difficult task as one his most important players, rightwinger Jana Knedlikova is injured, still in recovery and there is a huge questionmark related to her participation at the World Championship which starts in three days in Germany.

The squad of 18 players:

Rightwings: Fryčáková Tereza (DHK Zora Olomouc), Zachová Dominika (DHK Baník Most)
Leftwings: Malá Veronika (Issy Paris Hand, FRA), Salčáková Kristýna (ATM Achneheim Truchtersheim, FRA)
Rrightbacks: Galušková Veronika (DHK Slavia Praha), Hrbková Michaela (TSPG Frisch Goppingen), Ryšánková Helena (Cercle Dijon Bourgogne, FRA)
Leftbacks: Jeřábková Markéta (DHK Baník Most), Kordovská Kamila (HSG Blomberg-Lippe, GER)
Central backs: Kolářová Michaela (HC Zlín), Luzumová Iveta (Thüringer HC, GER), Marčíková Šárka (SPR Pogoň Szczetin, POL), Maňáková-Růčková Petra (DHK Baník Most)

Czech Republic will play in group B against Norway, Sweden, Hungar, Poland and Argentina in Bietigheim.
