Slovenia-squad for the World Championship

Head-coach of Slovenian national team, Uros Bregar has also nominated his squad for the World Championship in Germany.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Maja Vojnović (Krka), Amra Pandžič (Krim Mercator)
Right wings: Alja Koren (Krim Mercator),  Neli Irman (Spono Eagles)
Leftwings: Ines Amon (Krim), Živa Čopi (Krka)
Rightbacks: Ana Gros (Metz), Lara Hrnčič (Z’Dežele)
Leftbacks: Ana Abina (Krim), Teja Ferfolja (Roman),Hana Vučko (Krim)
Centerbacks: Tjaša Rudman (Mlinotest Ajdovščina), Tjaša Stanko (Krim), Nina Zulić, Nina Žabjek (Krim Mercator),
LIneplayers: Aneja Beganovič (Krim Mercator), Lina Krhlikar (Göppingen), Alja Vrček (Krka)
Bulgarian-born playmaker, Elisabeth Omoregie is already Slovenian citizen, but she is not eligible yet to play for Slovenia, even if she was in the wide squad. Polona Braic got injured and Tamara Mavsar is also sidelined because of an earlier injury. Rightback Barbara Lazovic is not to find in the squad due to family reasons.
Slovenia will play in Trier, Group A against France, Spain, Romania, Angola and Paraguay.
