Slovenia – Gros 9, Stanko 4, Zulic 1, Irman 4, Koren 3, Vrcek 2, Amon 1

One of the biggest surprises in the line of interesting results today, was the Slovenian victory against France, one of the favorites to the semifinals. French goalkeepers had a weak day, meanwhile, Pandzic in the Slovenian goal made a decent game. Slovenia opened with 1-6, then won the first half. In the second half France fought back, leveled the game at 17-17, but they did not manage to turn over the result.

Spain – Angola 28 – 24 (15 – 13)

Goals:

Spain – Martin 9, Barbosa 6, Pena 5, Rodriguez 3, Musons 2, Chavez 1, L.Gonzalez 1, A.Gonzalez 1

Angola – Cazanga 7, Guialo 5, Carlos 5, Maqchado 3, Kamalandua 2, Paulino 1, Dos Santos 1

Spain led bt Carmen Martin  won against Angola in a match which did not seem easy at all for Spaniards.
