Spain was victorious in their second game in the group, this time against Paraguay. The South American team was not able to make any problems for Pena and company.

Angola – France 19 – 26 (10-11)

Angola- Nenganga 1, da Silva 2, Machado 1, Kassoma 3, Carlos 3, Peres 1, Cazanga 4(1), dos Santos 1,Guialo 3.

France – Dancette 2, Ayglon-Saurina 2, Pineau 1, Landre 5, Houette 4, Dembélé, Flippes 2, Kanor 1, Nze Minko 1, Niombla 1, Lacrabère 7( 3)

Suspensions: 4 minutes. 1 direct red card; 6 minutes

Angola is proved to be an uncomfortable opponent for every European team, playing another type of handball and having other physycal parameters. Their new head-coach gives them a plus by bringing Scandinavian and maybe Brazilian style also.
