The last match of the day in group D was scheduled between hosts and China PR. The match-start was shaky for both teams as there were not scored a big amount of goals, but after ten minutes Germany found the key of their own attack and ran over their opponents, meanwhile did not allow to China to score, only three goals, 10-3 before the break.

In the second half, Germany continued their handball-workout, scoring fourteen and receiving six. A mandatory win for the hosts, 24-9.
