Group C
Tunisia was without any victory before this encounter against Montenegro, while Per Johansson’s team came after a loss in front of Japan, so Radicevic and company needed the two points here desperately.
Montenegro was in lead at the beginning of the game, but Tunisian goalkeeper Abdallah made some difficult minutes for her former team-mates from Buducnost and produced a fantastic period in the Tunisian goal, saving almost everything from every possible position against Radicevic, Raicevic, Bulatovic, Grbic or Jaukovic. Tunisia was in 12- 10 lead, but Montenegro managed to fight back and win the first half 13-15.
In the second half, Montenegro was more focused and every player gave that little extra needed to win the game. Milena Raicevic made an excellent match, meanwhile Grbic, Bulatovic or Radicevic contributed each with their play. Tunisia had two remarkable performances by goalkeeper Echraf Abdallah and left-back Ines Khouildi. Final result: 23-29.
