Hamburg, IHF World Championship
Only hours before the final of the World Championship will start, Norwegian staff makes a replacement in the squad.
Goalkeeper Silje Solberg will replace in the squad Helene Gikstad Fauske. This way will Norway have three goalkeepers in the final against France.
Silje Solberg was in Germany already from Bietigheim, from group stages, first as a spectator, then she got into the Norwegian squad in order to help the team in the workouts. The reason was that Kari Aalvik Grimsbø still needs longer recovery time after her injury and surgery in the summer, and Katrine Lunde could not stay long hours for shooters training.
Now Silje Solberg is the part of the troop, because Katrine Lunde was not satisfied with her form in the semi-final, she was replaced with Kari Aalvik Grimsbø, but the staff is worried to have only two goalkeepers, so they took this decision.
The final starts 17.30 against France.
