Spanish goalkeeper Gonzalo Perez de Vargas has suffered a knee injury on Wednesday night in the match against Germany and even if his team qualified to the semifinals, this injury could mean that he played his last game.

Head coach of Spania, Jordi Ribera has called Árpád Sterbik to travel to Zagreb as they need to make a replacement. The replacement has to be announced to EHF until Friday morning, 9 o’clock.

In the last EURO in Poland two years ago, Spain was in the final and took the silver medals being defeated by Germany.
