SG BBM Bietigheim and Thüringer HC faced each other in the German duel of the Champions League, in the first round of the Main Round. FRom the team of Bietigheim, we could remark several absences: Shenia Minevskaja is out with a knee injury, Susan Muller and Nina Worz are not anymore a part of the squad. The team of Herbert Müller had the lead early in the match, 12-8 at halftime, than Luzumova and co. increased the advantage to six goals 16-10. But Bietigheim managed to fight back and close the gap to only one goal in the middle of the second half. The match ended with a victory for THC, winning 28-26 in Erfurt.
