EHF Women Champions League
Main Round, 3rd round
Group I
Nykobing Falster started better the Danish clash, leading 4-1, 6-3 and 10-7. Kristina Kristiansen, Sara Iversen and Cecilie Greve in the goal were the main reasons why FCM had a shaky start. After 25 minutes FCM managed to level the game 10-10, but the first half was won by hosts 11-10.
In the second half guests started with leveling the game 11-11, and FCM had a better performance as they took the lead and were in advantage during almost the entire time with two and even three goals, 15-18. NFH fought back and even if their line player, Iversen got injured in the dying minutes they managed to score to level the game and keep home one decisive point after this encounter. As the ranking of the group looks right now the faith of the fourth and last qualifying spot could be decided between the two Danish teams and maybe Krim.
