THC and Metz played a sharp, close first half with small margins. Luzumova netted seven for hosts, but even this was not enough because Metz had a one-goal lead in the pause, 14-15. In the second part of the game the host was decided to keep close and the girls of Herbert Müller managed to take the lead 25-24, ten minutes before the end of the game. Despite a great German effort Metz managed to come back, level the match and get the lead 25-27. The last two minutes become very exciting as both teams fought to get the victory or a draw, but finally, Metz ended with an important victory. Final result:
