Vipers Kristiansand qualified from the semifinals after winning against Danish Viborg HK with an overall of 60-57, meanwhile, Romanians from CSM Craiova eliminated the Turkish team from Kastamonu Belediyeshi with just one goal overall result 41-40.
The first leg of the final in Kristiansand was played in front of an outsold Aquarama Arena, where 200-300 Romanian fans were also present. The Romanians made a good fight and kept the result very narrow in the first half, but they had problems with their returns against a speedy Norwegian team, where Jeanette Kristiansen ran over the opponent several times. The four-goal victory for Vipers is a success, the team from Craiova struggled to keep this difference. The hope is still there as on home court CSM Craiova has the chance to turn over the result.
The second match is scheduled on 11th May 2018, 19.30 in Sala Polivalenta in Craiova.
