We wrote last week HERE about the new financial crisis of Larvik HK and that they were in need to get 3 millions of Norwegian Krones in order to be able to float over the water and to stay in the Eliteserien (the Norwegian championship).
Helped by local companies and people who bought the “Larvik-package” and other contributors who donated money into a bank account, the club managed to get in an amount a bit over 3 million such as they are able to pay salaries and keep the business going.
In the semifinals of the extra play of the Norwegian Elitesreien they met Storhamar and in the first game in an away match the girls of Tor Odvar Moen managed to get a huge victory against Heidi Løke and company, winning 32 – 41 (13 – 19). In the other semifinal, Vipers managed to win over Byåsen 23- 28 (13 – 17).
