Yvette Broch – line player (Győri Audi ETO KC)

” The key of the victory today was our defense. We talked about this before the game and we were aware of the fact that if this will work so we have a really good chance to win the semifinal. CSM Bucuresti could not score for ten minutes in the beginning and we saw on their faces that they are searching the solutions without success and we got even more energy to continue. I am very proud of the team because despite so many problems along this hard season we managed to give our best here in the Women’s EHF FINAL4. Now is time for recovery and tomorrow no matter which team will we face the goal is to win.”

Ambros Martin-  head coach (Győri Audi ETO KC)

” After a really difficult season where we had so many injuries and problems, where we had to rebuild our defense and attack several times, we are still here and we did it again. Our defense was fantastic today, but I would remark our discipline, our cool head and the fighting spirit of the team. I am very proud of the girls, no we have to rest and prepare for tomorrows final.”

” We made a fantastic defensive game, and we helped each other all the way. We stuck to the tactical plan, we were focused and disciplined. This season made us stronger in every way. I am so proud of the team, we deserve to be in the final.”

Stine Bredal Oftedal –  playmaker (Győri Audi ETO KC)

“This is really big: playing Champions League for the very first time and to be in the final of the Women’s EHF FINAL4 is huge for me. This is the top of the club handball and I managed to reach this with such an amazing team, defeating a fantastic opponent.”

Anita Görbicz –  playmaker (Győri Audi ETO KC)

” Our defensive performance and mental strength took us here because this season was tough, but we grow in every aspect of the game and we are a team which never give up, fighting together until the end.”

Eduarda Amorim Taleska – left back (Győri Audi ETO KC)

About the match: “Defense was really fantastic, they couldn’t breath. I had the feeling, that we have everything under control and at this match, we were ready for anything. Thanks to our preparation there were more good moments than bad ones. I enjoyed the whole game.”

Amorim had a bad muscle cramp during the game, she needs some treatment: “Firstly, I will have a massage, then relax minimum two hours. I also need to empty my head. After these, I can start preparing for tomorrow.”

About the opponent in the final: “I already studied both of the opponents which we can meet in the final tomorrow. My notes are ready and waiting for me. After my recovery process, I will study as much as I can to know the weak spots of the other team.”
