Per Johansson: “We had no solutions…”

Per Johansson-head coach (CSM Bucuresti):

” We played badly in the first half when we could not score in the first ten minutes of the match, but in that period we had also a good defense and even if we had this bad start, at halftime we were down only with two goals. But in the second half, we had no solutions, and we had no fast breaks at all, which against a team like Győr is fatal. In my seven weeks here I could not change a lot, but this was one of the main problems as against their defensive wall is much more difficult to play.”

Line Jörgensen- right back (CSM Bucuresti):

“We played poorly in the first half and despite this, we were down only with two. We try to mobilize our energy on focusing better and do what we planned, but after we managed to level the game at 16-16 we failed to score again and Győr just played their game. I am so disappointed.”

Marit Malm Frafjord –  line player (CSM Bucuresti)

“I don’t really know what happened, we did not play like we planned and we were not very disciplined. We did not find the gaps in their defense, we had no solutions to score. Yet they managed to remain calm when  we closed the gap and our defense could not stop them”
