As every year at the start of the season, we try to make an overview of the transfers, focusing mostly at those teams which are interested in the Champions League and European Cups.

Last season CSM Bucuresti become the champion, and the team qualified to the EHF Women FINAL 4 for the third time in a row, collecting a bronze medal there. SCM Craiova managed to win the EHF Cup, collecting important points for the other Romanian teams in order to be able to have three teams in the EHF Cup. This season Craiova will play qualification tournament in the Champions League in order to qualify to the group-play.

EHF Cup participants (all playing from the second qualification round) are HC Zalau, SC Magura Cisnadie, SCM Ramnicu Valcea.

Top-players like Isabelle Gullden, Line Jørgensen or Camille Ayglon-Saurina left the Romanian League, but the dissolved Vardar had many players to offer and four of them choose CSM Bucuresti as their next club.
