In the first half Buducnost was the better team, leading 8-11 before the break, but in the second half hosts led by Xenia Smits managed to come back and turn over the result, taking the lead by two goals 17-15, 19-15. Buducnost kept also close to their opponent and managed to equalize again in the dying minutes 24-24 when Metz got a 7 meter in their last attack of the match which was transformed to a goal, the goal of the victory by Manon Houette. Final result: 25 – 24.
