Facts:

  • Metz has already collected two points two weeks ago against Buducnost in France
  • Jurswailly Luciano will not be able to help her team this season, due to pregnancy
  • Marina Raicic was the GK of Metz in the last seasons, the two sides know each other very well
  • The match was decided in defense and goalkeeper positions

In the first half, the two teams played a close encounter, where the focus was on the defenses and both goalkeepers, Glauser and Raicic had good performances. Metz was in a slight lead, 9-10 before the break. In the second part of the game, Buducnost presented a much more massive and compact defense, which made that Metz players got frustrated also of Marina Raicics saves in the goal, after 18 minutes played Metz managed to score only three times, meanwhile hosts got a 14-10 lead. The first goal in this half came in the 45.minute for the French team and even if they improved in the last 6-7 minutes of the match, they lost in Podgorica because of their inefficient offensive play.
