Rostov Don played in Göteborg against IK Savehof last night, but without pressure as the Russians are already qualified to the Main Round. As we knew from the previous results, IK Savehof did not manage to win any of their matches in the group and stays on the last place in group B without points. However, the Swedish team grew as a team during the competition and this we could see in this game also, where they fought and caused some troubles for Rostov, was in lead most of the time with two-three goals (9-6, 10-7, 10-10) and finished the first half with advantage, 15-14.
In the second half Rostov quickly changed the path of the match, equalized and took the lead, 16-17 (33.minute) and from this point, IK Savehof could not get back into the game as they wanted. Russians increased the lead led by Vyakhireva, Managarova, and Borschenko and took a clear victory, 26 – 32.
