  • Győr was already qualified with maximum possible points to the Main Round
  • Podravka needed one point from this encounter in order to be able to grab the last Main Round berth, otherwise, Thüringer HC will qualify
  • Győr is always motivated in front of their own crowd, today the focus was on “focusing hundred percent during all the game”
  • In the first half Hansen, Kristiansen, Amorim or Bódi managed to get the goals, Kiss was amazing in the goal and in the second half the Hungarians almost doubled the advantage and finished with a twenty-goal victory.
  • For Podravka the CL is over, THC earned the last available berth
