Facts:

  • The match was crucial for THC as if they win or get a draw could mean their qualification to the Main Round, meanwhile, Győr defeats Podravka
  • Herbert Müller has many injured players: Hubbinger, Scheffknecht
  • Krim has improved their team play during the group matches in the Champions League and they want to win
  • In the first half, THC started better but Krim managed to take the lead and finish in advantage, 15-17
  • At the beginning of the second half THC-player, Krisztina Triscsuk got seriously injured (leg or ankle injury), she was taken by ambulance from the hall to the hospital
  • In the second half, THC was fighting but they were under with one-two goals. Saskia Lang made an extraordinary game, scoring 7 goals and her team managed to get the draw in the last minute of the match, 26-26 and even if Krim had the last chance to score and win, THC defense worked well, which could mean they are through to the Main Round.
