- France opened with a 5-0 against Montenegro, Leynaud made a fantastic first half, stopping several Montenegrin attacks and 7 meters.
- Montenegro was struggling to find the goal, get numerous 2-minute suspensions and Raicic was underperforming in the Montenegrin goal
- In the second half, France increased the lead, but Montenegrins managed to fought back and reduced the gap fromnine9 goals to only three, this being the closest they got.
