  • A motivated Slovenia managed to win Russia
  • Russia and Trefilov was resting his key-players, was changing and gave every player time on the court
  • Ana Gros scored 12 goals
  • Anna Kochetova made a good match, scoring 6 goals. She replaced Daria Dmitrieva, sent out with a direct red card.
  • The victory had no meaning regarding the qualification to the Main Round, Slovenia could not advance, Russia was already qualified with 4 points
