  • With a victory today, Russia can secure a semifinal berth, on the other hand, a Danish victory can keep them in a race for semis
  • The first half: a fluent, well working Russian attacking play and a compact defense with a high-performing Seedoykina between the sticks gave Russia a five-goal lead before the break. Anna Vyakhireva showed again good skills in attack, meanwhile, Denmark was struggling on both ends, their most efficient player being Mette Tranborg.
  • The second half: Denmark has tried everything, but Russia was a level better today and won the game 21-32
  • Best player of the match: Anna Sedoykina (RUS)
