Swedish semifinal hopes still alive after defeating Russia

  • Sweden needed a victory in order to keep their semifinal hopes alive, but a nine-goal victory seems huge especially against Russia. Trefilov gave, of course, resting time to his key-players, but Sweden got a deserved victory, where Nathalie Hagman scored 17 goals in the game.
  • The last game of the group I in the Main Round between France and Serbia will decide if France or Sweden will qualify to the semifinal.
