Serbia and Russia played an even match, and even if Serbians were in lead with one or two goals in the first half and with a 23-19 lead they had the chance for a victory in the second half, Russians managed to fight back and the match ended in a deserved draw, the two teams sharing the points.

Serbia –  Russia 30 – 30 (16 – 16)

Topscorers: Nemanja Ilic (SRB) 6 goals and Timur Dibirov (RUS) 11 goals

In a match, without excitement, Austria sealed the deal early, and after the first half, there were no questions about which team will be the winner.

Saud-Arabia – Austria 22 – 29 (9 – 15)

Topscorers: Alsalem Mahdi (RAD) 7 goals and Mykola Bylik (AUT) 7 goals
