Group B

Referees: Boualloucha, Khennisi (TUN)

Topscorers: Kiril Lazarov (MKD) 8(3) goals and Husain Alsayyad (BRN) 6 goals

Suspensions: 6 minutes; 6 minutes

Group D

Copenhagen, Royal Hall

The match was very even in the first half when Egypt has the initiative and the control for twenty minutes, leading 8-10 (20.minute), but Qatar managed to improve their defense and Daniel Saric replaced Yussuff in the goal. This move made Qatar much more confident and with saves from Saric they won 15-12 the first half. In the second part of the match, Qatar never left Egypt back into the game, despite that Egyptians managed to reduce the gap to only one goal 15-14, 16-15, and equalized 17-17. Qatar just took back the control and made a 6-0, 23-17, which was a huge and secure lead which Egypt never managed to get into the match. Qatar took a secure victory, 28-23, trying to make forgotten their first lost game against Angola.
