  • Sweden had to make a replacement in the squad when Jim Gottfridsson could not play because of injury, Linus Arnesson is the new playmaker
  • Tunisia managed to keep up with the Swedish team for 20 minutes in the match, Sweden had problems in the goal, where Palicka had no saves at all. Appelgren came in and saved the day, ending on 50% savings and Sweden ran over Tunisia eventually.

Tunisia –  Sweden 23 –  35 (14 –  19)

Referees: Nachevski, Nikolov (MKD)

Topscorers: Sanah Mosbai (TUN) 6 goals and Niklas Ekberg –  Andreas Nilsson (SWE) 7 goals each
