Russian champion Rostov Don has announced this week that Spanish head-coach, Ambros Martin has extended his contract for one more season with the club, according to the 1+1 agreement which was the initial contract when the Spaniard arrived in Rostov.
“I’m happy to stay in Rostov for one more year. Our main goal is to win the Champions League. However, if we will be able to do it already in current season, I will feel that my work is not finished yet, – said Ambros. – Club management, players, coaching staff, club employees and fans treat me warmly from the very beginning, and I feel like home. I really like Russia and Rostov-on-Don. Rostov is a big beautiful city where you can find anything you want. When you walk in the center, it’s always a big pleasure.
” I want each player and each member of the coaching staff to be concentrated on one goal – to win Champions League. Perhaps it won’t’ happen during the first year of our work, but we will do our best to reach the goals as soon as possible. And if some really ambitious players willing to win everything want to join us on our way to this dream, we will be happy. But it’s important to understand that behind this will be very hard work.”
