- Vipers started better, but Gyor with good defense and the even better attack took the lead after ten minutes
- Anne Mette Hansen and Kari Brattset were unstoppable today
- Kari Aalvik grimsbø showed her quality in the goal
- Vipers seemed to be in crisis, nothing working properly for the Norwegians
- Katrine Lunde stopped some 7 meters, from Groot, Gorbicz and Oftedal and Vipers managed to score some fastbreaks in the last minutes
- In the second half, Vipers made a good first quarter, reducing the gap to only three goals, 25 – 22, when Danyi called a timeout
- Gyor kept the distance from their opponents, leading 30-26 four minutes before the end
