FTC Rail-Cargo Hungaria – Thüringer HC 30 – 29 (17 – 12)

Topscorers: Katrin Klujber (FTC) 9 goals and Alicia Stolle – Iveta Luzumova (THC) 6 goals each

FTC started better and made a good first half, leading 17-12 after thirty minutes. But in the second half THC made a surprising comeback and managed to get dangerously close at the end of the match. Eventually FTC managed to keep their advantage and collect the two points which secures them the quarter-final berth.

Thuringer HC is out of the race for the quarter-finals, having only one point on their account.
