Nominations:

Men handball: four of the five nominated are French, one from Iceland.

Didier Dinart (France NT), Jordi Ribera (Spain NT), Patrice Canayer (Montpellier), Kristjan Andresson (Sweden NT ), Thierry Anti (Nantes)

Olivier Krumbholz (France NT), Ambros Martin (Spanish, Romania NT, Gyor, later Rostov headcoach), Helle Thomsen (Danish, former NT Netherlands and Molde headcoach), Thorir Hergeirsson (Norway NT), Ljubomir Obradovic (Serbia NT)
