The titleholders of the womens EHF CL, Győr Audi ETO KC has announced earlier today at an official press conference that three of their key players has extended their contracts with the club.

As follows Norwegian playmaker, Stine Bredal Oftedal (28) and Norwegian lineplayer Kari Brattset (28) has signed new contracts for the next two seasons both.

Danish left-back, Anne Mette Hansen (25) has chosen to extend her stay in Hungary with three more seasons, the contract she signed is for 2+1 years.

The manager of the club from Gyor, Dr.Csaba Bartha commented the extensions:

“It might be somehow unusual that at the beginning of September we have already announced theses contract extensions, but we had very good reasons to do so. On the first hand, we are very satisfied with the performance of these players and we believe that they will have decisive roles in the next period also, regarding the performance of the team. On the other hand, a very long season awaits, where after the World Championship from December this year, next spring there will be the Olympic qualification tournaments and next summer the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where most of our players are expected to participate. Regarding the fact that their future at their club is already secured, they can focus only on handball and this also will help them to perform even better.”
