The headcoach of Russian national team, Ambros Martin has announced the squad of twenty players of which 18 will make it to Japan.

Goalkeepers: Viktoriya Kalinina (Kuban Krasnodar, Anastasiya Lagina (Lada), Anna Sedoykina (Rostov Don)

Lefwings: Kristina Kozhokar (Rostov Don) , Polina Kuznetsova (Rostov Don)

Leftback: Vladlena Bobrovnikova (Rostov Don) , Anna Sen (Rostov Don), Olga Gorshenina (CSKA), Elena Mikhaylichenko (Lada), Elizaveta Malashenko (Astrakhanochka)

Playmakers: Yaroslava Frolova (Kuban Krasnodar, Olga Shcherbak (Lada)

Rightback: Anna Vyakhireva (Rostov Don) , Valeriya Maslova (Rostov Don), Antonina Skorobogatchenko (Kuban Krasnodar)

Rightwing: Yuliya Managarova (Rostov Don), Olga Fomina (Lada)

Lineplayers: Yana Zhilinskayte (CSKA), Anastasiya Illarionova (Zvezda), Kseniya Makeeva (Rostov Don)
