EHF EURO 2020

Group A, Graz

Montenero fought hard in the first half and had a slight lead at the pause, but Croatia won the game at the end.

Croatia – Montenegro 27 – 21 (12 – 13 )

Topscorers: Luka Cindric (CRO) 6 goals and Nemanja Grbovic (MNE) 6 goals

Group C, Trondheim

Latvia had fuel enough only for one half, giving a hard fight to Spain during the first thirty minutes. Dainis Kristopans showed his class, was hard to stop. Interesting referee decisions when Spain got two direct red cards, both after video and for hitting the face of an opponent (Maqueda and Morros).

Spain – Latvia 33 – 22 (14 – 11)

Topscorers: Angel Perez Fernandez (ES) 5 goals and Dainis Kristopans (LAT) 7 goals

MVP: Dainis Kristopans (LAT)
