Spain takes a secure win against the Czech Republic and earns two more points.

Spain – Czech Republic 31 – 25 (14 – 9)

Topscorers: Angel Perez Fernandez – Alex Dujsebajev (ESP) 5 goals and Ondrej Zdrahala(CZE) 8 goals and Stanislav Kasparek (CZE) 6 goals

In the second match of the Main Round, Austria has never really had a chance to get a point in this match, Croatians controlled the game from the start to the end and collected the important two points.

Croatia – Austria 27 – 23 (13 – 8)

Topacorers: Horvat 6, Duvnjak-Cindric 5-5 (CRO) and Weber 6, Zeiner 4 (AUT)

Belarus – Germany 23 – 31 (11 – 18)

Topscorers: Uladzislau Kulesh (BLR) 6 goals and Timo Kastening (GER) 6 goals
