DELO Women’s EHF Champions League

Main Round, Group I

Without Sulland and Hegh Arntzen (and Katrine Lunde) Vipers had problems already from the beginning, but Tomac and Reistad kept the team in the race for the points. In the second half Esbjerg just won the match, mainly in the attack, as the defense of Vipers was not able to stop the Danish team led by Frey, Polman, and Breistøl. Esbjerg collected two important points regarding the quarterfinals.

Vipers Kristiansand – Team Esbjerg 31 – 34 (15 – 16)

Referees: Hucker, Andorka (HUN)

Topscorers: Tomac 8, Dahl 6, Aune 5, Reistad 5, Løke 4 (Vipers) and Breistøl 8, Polman 6, Frey 5 (Esbjerg)
