On Friday, CSM Bucuresti managed to defeat FTC and as follows, the Hungarians are already out from the race for the quarter-finals. In the second match of the group, Rostov hosted Metz on Saturday and somehow surprisingly the French team took a secure victory in Russia 24-29. The third game on Sunday was a Scandinavian derby where Vipers (without many injured players) visited Esbjerg and after an exciting first half (15 -16) Team Esbjerg took over the control in the second, helped by a fantastic Breistøl and Polman, the Danes won the game and practically Vipers has very few chances to get into the quarter-finals.
