In the first match of the group, Buducnost defeated IK Savehof in Göteborg, after a good start of the host, who was in lead for a long period. In the second game, Krim managed to keep a point home in front of SCM Rm.Valcea, the final result was 28-28. In the last match of the round, the final of the group was played in Brest, where Győr was visiting. After a balanced game, The title-holder got the victory by one-goal difference.
