Brest Bretagne – Krim Ljubljana 37 – 26 (19 – 14)

Topscorers: Paulette Foppa (Brest) 8 goals and Harma van Kreij (Krim) 6 goals

Buducnost – Győri Audi ETO KC 27 – 28 (17 – 12)

Topscorers: Jovanka Radicevic (Buducnost) 7 goals and Katarina Bulatovic (Győr) 8 goals

SCM Rm.Valcea defeated clearly the Swedish champion and secured the quarter-final spot and in the second game of the group Brest ran over Krim, winning also easily. In the third match, Buducnost hosted Győr and the Montenegrinsg had a five-goal lead at the pause, which they managed to increase to a six-goal lead in the second half, but Győr as they are known fought back and won the match by one, staying undefeated in the CL:
