Two positive corona tested FTC players – CL match against Vipers cancelled

Hungary is a red zone for Norway – says the Norwegian FHI (People Health Institute) – based on lately corona infection rate in Hungary. This means that people traveling from Hungary must go in a 10 days quarantine, even if they have negative PCR tests. FTC have got a special license from the Norwegian authorities to avoid this quarantine with a covid19- test taken by the Norwegian health service, and to not leave the hotel during their stay.

FTC Rail Cargo Hungária arrived to Norway on Thursday, traveled trough Amsterdam to Kristiansand. The team traveled to the hotel in Kristiansand in a private bus, wearing masks as a procedure for travalers from red zone countries, until they got to be accommodated.

Health service from Kristiansand has taken the corona tests on Thursday afternoon, today came the results and two players from FTC have unfortunately got positive test results!

The two positive players are isolated and the rest of the team are in quarantine.

The CL match from the second round is cancelled/postponed for an unknown dato.
