Third victory for Norway when meeting Montenegro

Montenegro – Norway 28 – 35 (15 – 20)

Topscorers : Djurdina Jaukovic (MNE) 7 goals and Henny Ella Reistad 7, Amanda Kurtovic 6(3), Sanna Solberg – Isakson 6 (NOR)

After two matches with a weak performance, Montenegro managed to follow closely Norway in the fist 20 minutes of the match, led by Itana Grbic, having a very good first half in this match.

Norway rested Nora Mørk and Marit Røsberg Jacobsen, Reistad and Hegh – Arntzen was back in the team today.

Oftedal and Kristiansen were also kept on the bench during the whole game.

Amanda Kurtovic and Henny Ella Reistad made a good first half, but Sanna Solberg and Emily Hegh-Arntzen had also an important contribution to the Norwegian play.

In the second half the match continued on the same track, Norway had showed a good offensive play, but defensive they lacked intensity and cooperation in periods of the game. Montenegro played their best match in this tournament, they managed to stay close to Norway in longer periods of the game, showed a good defense and in attack they have also improved compared to the earlier games. They missed important players like Milena Raicevic , Jelena Despotovic and Marta Batinovic.

The match ended with a Norwegian victory, 28-35.
