Vipers defeats CSM and FTC wins in Esbjerg after quarantine

Vipers Kristiansand – CSM Bucuresti 30 – 25 (14 – 12)

Topscorers: Emilie Hegh-Arntzen 6, Hanna Yttereng 5, Henny Ella Reistad 4, Nora Mørk 4 (Vipers) and Crina Pintea 7, Barbara Lazovic 7, Carmen Martin 6 (CSM Bucuresti)

Vipers were without Heidi Løke, Silje Waade , Malin Aune and Jeanett Kristiansen, all having injuries, Romanians without Cristina Neagu, who is infected with covid-19 and is sick.

Katrine Lunde was back in the goal fro Norwegians.

Vipers had the control of the match from the beginning and despite a periode when CSM managed to keep the resukt close, the team of Gjekstad won comfortably at the end.

FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria had to postpone two rounds, one against Vipers and the other against Metz due to covid19 infection in the team, but they had to play in this round against Esbjerg.

The Hungarian team arrived to Denmark with a small troop, missing half of the squad : Hafra, Klujber,Bölk, all three lineplayers – Pásztor, Behnke, Kisfaludy, and Tóth, Kovács.

Esbjerg on the other hand had injuries on Solberg and Røsberg Jacobsen so Jesper Jensen had to play without wing specialists today.

Esbjerg had the lead during 45 minutes, but FTC managed to use their resources correctly during the game and turned over the result in the last part of the game, winning away, collecting important points.
