Both teams had many absences: Jacobsen, Polman and Ingstad for Esbjerg, Waade, Kristiansen and Løke for Vipers are out with injuries.

Cristina Neagu was back for CSM after covid19 infection, meanwhile, FTC was still missing Hafra, Klujber, Kisfaludy, Pasztor, Kovacs and Toth because of covid19 infection and the applied Hungarian rules.
